Women's Ministries

Our Cornerstone Women's Ministry vision for 2010 is "A Year of Giving." As our church becomes a "Storehouse" reaching out to those in our communities, our women will be focusing also on giving. At each of our meetings we will have an outreach project and throughout the year we will be collecting change for the "Becky for Life" Assemblies of God missionary fund. In addition we will still have lots of fellowship, games, and fun! Let's get ready to have a great time together but also be the hands of Jesus to those in need in our community. Are you ready to answer the call to give?

Mark your calendar for these next upcoming events:

Wellspring

Wellspring Ministry is based totally upon the teachings of Biblical Scripture. Our goal is to identify ways that we have become separated from God, from other people, and from ourselves in relationships. In Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus explained that the two greatest commandments were to love God the Father with all our heart, soul and mind and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We must love ourselves in order to love our neighbor. We believe that broken relationships are the root of most psychological and physical problems, and that God’s Word gives us the tools to restore them.

We lead people in a process of learning to identify sin, understand it in their own lives, identify Satan’s attacks, and then learn how to have victory. Psychology, at times, can identify a problem, but only God’s principles of repentance and forgiveness can heal our broken hearts and broken relationships and set us free (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18-19). Closure to the painful issues in our past only comes through the application of God’s precepts. We believe that only His principles of forgiveness and repentance can heal the broken heart.
